Everwood's first season is so relevant it could have been ordered this past pilot season. The series premiered in 2002 on the United Paramount Network (UPN) running for four seasons but ultimately didn't survive the WB and UPN merger.
At his late wife's request big city Nuero surgeon moves to a small town to start a new life as a general doctor and to reconnect with his children. The doctor procedural element shines epsiode to epsiode when our Doctor Brown invests his heart in every pa...

I Checked out siesta key even though I wasn't a "Hills girl" back in the day. If only because I was a hard core Real World fan, a Road Rules fan back in the day and also a Challenge fan. However my love for The Real World faded after the first Vegas season when the show became less about when things stop being polite and start getting real and more about hot people getting crunk and hooking up.
The premiere of Siesta Key was over shadowed by animal cruelty allegations where a friend of one...

Riverdale is the best CW show in years.
Riverdale is Twin Peak meets Dawson's Creek with a sprinkle of Pretty Little Liars and Scream the Series plotting with an Archie comics mythology cellophane cosmetic layer. And they literally lifted an executive producer of Dawson's Creek and an actress from Twin Peaks.
The new show takes the beloved characters from the Archie comics and sets them in modernish day when a murder hits their sleepy town.
The show also features the iconic Jo...

Twin Peaks has returned- the vibrations of the masses was received, and we were gifted with 18 precious episodes. I caught up on Twin Peaks seasons 1, 2 and Fire Walk With Me, since I was but a wee li'l one when the show first premiered. In the first viewing I found myself bored to tears by the sordid romantic entanglements of "high schoolers" and instead completely riveted by the uncanny and mystery of the small town. As an individual with a background and appreciated for avant-garde and experi...

So my guilty pleasure Pretty Little Liars is not so much a secret anymore. I have devoted more hours than I should admit to this show and it's mysteries. No matter how ridiculous, twisty, repetitive, or great I tuned. I have said to anyone who asks that I firmly believe that our big villain of the series was going to be the guy with the British accent from the pilot.
Maybe it's because he is too nice and helpful to the girls, maybe it's the accent, maybe it's the fact that every doctor wh...

So I am officially getting on the Poe/Finn Train. Poe and Finn aka Pinn aka Poenn.
In Star Wars they have been known to "bury" the lead on who will be the main love interests in the trilogy. We are spoon feed the first couple that we are supposed to root for. Leia and Luke are the couple we are expecting to see us through the trilogy. Then suddenly they are brother and sister and that sexual tension and kisses are something that we all want to forget about, so I'll focus more on the hugs instea...

Thank you Trevor Noah for not ruining The Daily Show.
I am going to be honest. I didn't watch The Daily Show religiously for the entire run of the sacred Jon Stewart show. I watched most of the episodes over the past 5 years. I loved the spunk, honestly, and realness that Jon brought to his viewers every night. Going over the world's biggest fuck ups every night is tough to do. It takes a toll on your soul and your heart to have to talk about the latest shooting, war, bill not being passed, the...

To say I have seen Grease before FOX's Live telecast would be an understatement. I have seen the original movie more times than is socially acceptable. And I have seen the staged production around 12 times. I also may or may not have acted out Grease 2 for my family for special occasions. So I am a LITTLE familiar with the show.
To be honest I wasn't planning on watching this rendition of the show. I was't too thrilled with some of the casting choices and didn't know if the show needed to be rev...

Don's Plum
While lurking on the front page of the internet I found a gem of a controversy that still rears it ugly head in the industry today. I am of course talking about Don's Plum a film described as revolutionary as it is painful to watch. I found it fascinating and honest. It's isn't Oscar worthy but it is a slice of the 90's.
At it's core this movie is what many aspiring directors, actors and writers wish to do. Tell a story about their friends. A story about a group of young asp...

Leonardo Dicapio has been gipped by the Academy more times than you think. Not just the fact the man hasn't one an Oscar yet. But the fact he was nominated for significantly fewer roles for Oscars than Golden Globes.
He has only been nominated for 4 Oscars. FOUR!
But Leo has racked up 11 Golden Globes Nominations And after his current win for The Revenant this month he managed to win three overall.
He wasn't even nominated for Titanic you guys.
Not Gangs of New York.
Not for...
