Sony Schedule Updated: Jumanji and Spider-Man Three-boot

Sony just shuffled around their schedule for some of their upcoming films. The Jumanji reboot, which has now found a director in Jake Kasdan. Hopefully they somehow respect the original film, which is one of my favorite childhood films and instead of pretending that Robin Williams’ Jumanji adventure never happened, maybe make reference to the fact that the last place the Jumanji board game was located was the town to original film takes place, because anyone can play the board game. Jumanji has moved out of 2016 and into 2017, July 28th, 2017 to be exact.

This date was originally set for the Sony and Marvel joint custody reboot of Spider-Man. But Sony and Disney have just moved up the Jon Watts directed Spider-Man to July 7th, 2017. This Spider-Man is the third movie iteration of the characters and will be portrayed by Tom Holland first in Captain American 3: Civil War and then in this Marvel Spider-Man reboot.
