Welcome to Yooka-Universe, a portal to celebrate the universe that all starts with Playtonic's first game, Yooka-Laylee. It all started back in the 90s, like most good stories, with the creation of Diddy Kong Racing. In that game Rare established a multiconnected universe by using their future game stars, Banjo and Conker, in the game. Since then the Donkey Kong Universe has sprouted into a craziness. Throughout buyouts and Nintendo just not giving a fuck, the DKU, while it's still going strong, hell this game and Sea of Theives are considered DKU, it's gotten a little muddied and Playtonic has essentially whiped the slate clean, while also respecting the past and are forging on with a new connected universe. So first up is Yooka-Laylee. Up next, who knows. Your guess is as good as mine.
