A Theory on Why Everyone Says, "I've Got A Bad Feeling About This," in Star Wars

In The Last Jedi BB-8 says, "I've got a bad feeling about this" at the top of the movie. And in Rogue One K-2S0 says the infamous, "I've got a bad feeling about this.

In The Force Awakens it's Han who says it which makes sense as we know he's been around people who've said it before. But the droids saying it got me thinking, maybe one of the sentences that every Droid in the Star Wars universe is programmed to say. And because every Droid says it, the term has rubbed off on the humans and aliens in the universe and they in turn say it. "I've got a bad feeling about this," has traveled the galaxy through the droids and the saying has become a sort of meme in the Star Wars Universe!

Let's take a look back at all the times these words were muttered. I'll go chronological.

The Phantom Menace

Attack of the Clones

Revenge of the Sith

Rogue One a Star Wars Story

A New Hope

A New Hope (Again)

Empire Strikes Back

Return of the Jedi

Return of the Jedi (Again)

The Force Awakens

The Last Jedi

See, the droids are programmed to say it and the humans pick up on it.
